openteacher software package provides learn words in a foreign language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openteacher
openteacher is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openteacher package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openteacher *
You will get with openteacher package name, version, architecture and description in a table
